As mentioned above, NuoDB has positioned itself to make a profound impact on a massive market.  To do that, we need to build a world-class marketing function and need a Product Marketing Manager who can take lead on analyst relations, use-case development, sales, and channel enablement and ensure that the technicality of our solution resonates in our content.  Given the technical complexity of the problems we help solve, the product marketing function will be a critical one for NuoDB and the right person for this role will help build it.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Market intelligence—be the expert on our buyers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria.
  • Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.
  • Collaborate with product management and marketing communications to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas.
  • Understand and document our buyer’s process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make. Then drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn.
  • Plan the launches of net-new products and releases of existing products, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
  • Act as the primary thought leader for our platform externally, including speaking engagements and written works.
  • Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it.

 

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in B2B tech product marketing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with analyst firms: Gartner, Forrester, Ovum, 451, IDC, Intellyx, etc
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A “can-do” attitude
  • Tech-savvy and experience using Marketing Automation & Salesforce
  • College degree is required
  • Highly collaborative and able to communicate with sales, product and engineering personas internally and externally
  • Passionate about being surrounded by incredible people
