Inside Sales Representative

Overview of the role:

The Inside Sales Team at NuoDB is looking for an experienced high-energy individual to lead and evolve our sales process while working to qualify open inbound leads and turn them into solid sales opportunities and close deals. If you love generating business from inbound leads and getting prospects to engage with a company or product, this is for you. The ISR Lead will open and engage leads in dialogue for the company either through phone or email.

Main responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with marketing on lead-gen campaigns and be creative with exploring new ways to reach prospective customers
  • Execute on existing ISR processes and continuously look to improve the process for greater ROI
  • Work effectively and collaboratively with your BDC and outside sales team to generate new business
  • Engage leads in dialogue either through phone or email
  • Qualify assigned leads based on level of interest in NuoDB
  • Maintain and update Salesforce.com records for all assigned leads by following established processes
  • Create dashboards and prepare reporting metrics to monitor and measure BDR performance
  • Close key transactions on a monthly basis

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years proven and demonstrable track record of success in the Inside Sales role(s) within high-tech (Database technology preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with outbound sales activity preferred
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A “can-do” attitude
  • Tech-savvy and able get up to speed quickly on systems like Marketo and Salesforce.com
  • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
